Pilot program

Submitting a pilot access request does not create a contractual relationship. Pilot terms, including data handling and service scope, will be documented separately with each pilot partner.

AI output is assistance, not authentication or appraisal

NorthStar's descriptions, category suggestions, and price estimates are generated to help you catalogue items faster — they are not authentication, certification, or a professional appraisal. Where NorthStar identifies a probable maker, material, or period from photographs, it uses qualified language ("appears to be," "consistent with," "not tested") rather than asserting a fact it cannot verify from images alone.

You are responsible for reviewing and editing every listing before it publishes, and for seeking qualified authentication or appraisal for items where that matters to a sale. NorthStar preserves your original photos and notes so condition and provenance claims can always be traced back to their source.
